What Thuisbord is
Thuisbord turns a screen at home into your household's shared screen: energy, such as what power costs right now and what your home uses, and the family, such as the calendar, tasks and shopping.
Thuisbord only reads. It switches no devices on or off and never steers a home battery or car charger. The energy part needs a Homey or Home Assistant that knows your smart meter.
Prices, forecasts and advice on the screen are information. Where a figure is an estimate, we say so. What you do with the advice is up to you.
The free trial
Every new household first gets 14 days free, with everything included. You need no payment details for it.
After the trial you only pay if you take a plan yourself. A paid plan never starts by itself.
If you take a plan during the trial, the trial ends and you pay the first time straight away.
Plans and prices
One subscription covers the whole household: every screen and every adult.
There are two plans: monthly, for € 3,99 per month, and yearly, for € 39,99 per year. All prices are including VAT.
You always pay in advance, for the month or year that begins.
Paying
The household's owner takes the plan, in the web version of the Thuisbord app. You pay on a payment page of Stripe, with iDEAL or a credit card. After that, Stripe collects the next payments automatically.
You enter your card or bank details only with Stripe, never with Thuisbord. Your invoices are under Settings › Subscription in the web version of the app.
If a payment fails, Stripe tries a few more times.
Renewing and stopping
The monthly plan renews every month. You can stop it any month; it then runs until the end of the month you already paid for.
The yearly plan first runs for a year. You can stop it in that first year; it then runs until the end of the paid year and does not renew.
If you don't stop it, the yearly plan renews for a year after the first year, for € 39,99 per year. About a month before it renews, the household's owner gets an email with the date, the price and how to stop it. After the first year you can stop it any month: it then runs until the end of the current month, counted from the day it renewed, so with at most one month's notice. The whole months you had paid in advance after that are paid back to you after the end, by bank transfer, with a credit note.
The household's owner stops the plan in the web version of the app, under Settings › Subscription. An email to us is enough too.
Right of withdrawal: 14 days to change your mind
When you take a plan, you may change your mind within 14 days without giving a reason. Those 14 days begin on the day you take the plan.
Thuisbord starts right after your payment, because you ask for that when you check out. If you change your mind within the 14 days, you only pay for the days your plan already ran, in proportion to the price. The rest is refunded.
To change your mind, let us know within the 14 days, by email or with the form below. You don't have to use the form. We refund you within 14 days, the same way you paid.
Form to change your mind
Only fill this in if you want to withdraw from your plan, and send it to us by email.

Offers
If an offer, such as a discount, has conditions of its own, they are shown with the offer on the website and on the payment page. A discount only applies as stated there.
Availability and changes
We do our best to keep Thuisbord working at all times, but cannot promise it never falters. Thuisbord also depends on services of others, such as your internet, Homey or Home Assistant and the sources of the electricity prices.
We keep improving Thuisbord and may change features. We announce a price change by email at least 30 days ahead; you can then stop your plan before the new price applies. In a year you already paid for, your price does not change.
Liability
Thuisbord shows information. We are not liable for damage from decisions you make based on that information, such as when you switch on an appliance.
If we are liable after all, then at most for what you paid us in the 12 months before. That does not apply to intent or gross negligence on our side, and it takes away no rights you always have as a consumer.
Your data
How Thuisbord handles your data is on the privacy page.
Complaints
If you are unhappy about something, email us. We reply within 14 days. If we cannot solve it together, you can go to court.
Which law applies
Dutch law applies to these terms and your subscription. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection the law of that country always gives you as a consumer.
If these terms change
If we change these terms, we announce it by email at least 30 days ahead. If you don't agree, you can stop your plan before the new terms apply.
