Your home at a glance

Thuisbord turns a tablet on the wall, your TV or a laptop into your household's shared screen. How much power you are using right now, when power is cheap, and what is on the family's schedule today.

What Thuisbord shows

Two things on one screen, readable from across the room.

Energy

For everyone at home, including those who never open an energy app.

  • How much power your home is using right now
  • When power is cheap today
  • What today has cost so far
  • One line of advice, such as: run the dishwasher now

Family

So the screen is useful every day, also when little happens with energy.

  • The family calendar
  • Tasks for each family member, ticked off with one touch
  • The shopping list
  • Your own photos

How it works

  1. 1

    A screen you already own

A tablet on the wall, your TV or a laptop. Thuisbord runs in the app or simply in the browser; you do not need a new device.

  2. 2

    Your Homey or Home Assistant

It already knows your smart meter. Once you agree, your use goes from there to Thuisbord, so every screen in your home can show it live.

  3. 3

    The app on your phone

With the app on your phone you link the screen, connect Homey or Home Assistant, enter your electricity tariff and add the family members.

No Homey or Home Assistant yet? The calendar, tasks, shopping list and photos work without one.

On your TV too

Open Thuisbord in the browser on your TV, laptop or tablet, without installing anything. That puts the family's day on the biggest screen in the house too.

We are still working out exactly which TVs work.

Thuisbord in a short video

A tablet on the wall and an ordinary day at home: this is how Thuisbord works.

Two promises about your data

Meter readings only after you agree, for your household only

Your own Homey or Home Assistant sends your meter readings to Thuisbord, so every screen in your home can show them. That only starts once you agree during setup; before that, the phone shows exactly which values Thuisbord receives. Only what is needed is sent: current power, the import and export totals, the active tariff, and solar and gas when available.

Thuisbord stores the readings in the EU, and only your household can see them. We never sell or share them, and never write them to logs.

If you disconnect Homey or Home Assistant, nothing more is sent. If you delete your household, Thuisbord deletes its readings too.

Family data is stored in the EU, for your household only

Family member names, tasks, shopping items, calendar links and photos have to show up on several devices. That is why Thuisbord stores them on servers in the EU, and only your household can see them.
